I'll be growing those next year (along with other stuff!) on my new farm!

I can't believe how quick they grew. Too spicy for me but I think they'll go great in a salad. My lettuce heads are ready for picking too ^.^

The radish tops are edible, too.  They taste like turnips or watrercress and are not NEARLY as hot, and yes, they grow extremely Fast!

I was going to do something with the greens but the earwigs or something got to them. I still haven't caught what it is in the act. Fortunately they grew fast enough to outpace the defoliage. The eaten pattern is nothing like what I am seeing on my cabbage etc. but makes one wonder. I'm not seeing any leaf damage on the beets which are planted right next to them. I have used slug bait and insecticidal soap but not diametaceous earth since I am saving it for the bastard earwigs.

And then there's Yellow Squash and Okra, other Fast Growing HIGH production vegetables.  And try Praying Mantis eggs for insect control.  Find or purchase praying mantis egg cases and put them around your garden.  Each case produces dozens of baby praying Mantisses, who when they proceed to hatch, eat each other until only the strongest and best survive.  these grow to adult size of 6 inches long and eat hundreds of harmful garden and crop pests.  Organic farmers LOVE these predators!  And, each year the females lay MORE egg cases near your garden.  Just dont pick the adults up.  ISTILL have scars on my hands where I picked one up as a kid.  Its claws ripped a nasty gash in my hand that required stitches!
