Description

I took up blade forging as part of my wrist rehab. My friend snapped his old blade, so we disassembled it's pieces, bught some fresh steel ingots, and went to work forging a new blade. Here's the result.

It's pretty good, though the single temper does affect the cutting edge a bit. After about 50 good whacks it needs to be re-honed, but while it's sharp it's going thru whatever you swing it at (minus larger trees and such, of course)
