Is this just the product of my lonely mind?
It seems to me like I'm wasting my time.
You laugh and joke and play pretend,
You don't have to cloak the message you send.
Please be forward if you want to make a suggestion,
My thoughts are torture, leaving me in question.
Try to be more direct, I can't make the first move;
You have to realize that I have more to lose.
With cunning and caution, I loosen the screws.
You can count on me to allow you to choose.
A recurring event, or a single success.
My only intent is to get rid of that stress.
